3rd Best Public Sector Projects
This year, the categories have expanded to include municipalities in addition to regional line agencies, state universities and colleges and provinces/cities.
For this year, we are giving cognizance to the new set of Board of Judges, headed by Rev. Edwin Lariza as Chief Judge and representing Social Development Committee. Other judges are as follows: DILG VI Director Evelyn A. Trompeta for the Development Administration Committee, Ms. Ana Eva G. Villanueva for the Economic Development Committee, Engr. Nestor Antonio Monroy for the Infrastructure Development Committee, and OIC-RD Ro-Ann A. Bacal for the Regional Land Use Committee.
The Board of Judges had their second meeting on November 25, 2008 at Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City (sponsored by Canadian Urban Institute with DILG-Local Governance Resource Center) where they deliberated on the projects per category and firmed up schedules for the field validation of the further shortlisted projects.
